I've heard of some schools charging up to $1000 per season. I've heard of others charging about $75 for a kid to play football. How much do you pay and do you feel your son's experience was worth it?

Football season is over. My son wants to workout with the team and they lift at 6 in the morning. He plays basketball as well so he has daily practices after school as well. AP homework accounts for the rest of the evening. When is this too much? Someone give me some insight on this one way or another....
